Third Place Transition House is a 10 bed shelter that offers support services for women and children fleeing abuse and violence. We provide non-judgemental, inclusive, confidential services; offering a safe space for healing to begin. Third Place also offers Outreach Services, Public Education and Programming in Truro, Colchester and East Hants.

Millbrook Family Healing Centre is one of two Shelters in Nova Scotia designed to serve Indigenous People. Our culturally relevant holistic programming is available to all Indigenous men, women and children who have experienced family violence.

BRIDGES is a counselling centre for families. We offer counselling for men and women struggling with relationship issues, rebuilding trust, anger, depression, stress, anxiety, parenting, PTSD, as well as many other concerns.

Their mandate is to help empower Mi'kmaq women and 2SLGBTQQIA people by being involved in developing and changing legislation which affect them.

The Truro Chapter of Autism Nova Scotia provides support, events, and program opportunities to Autistic individuals, persons with autism, and their families and caregivers. We strive to build community capacity and understanding about autism, service navigation, and offer an inclusive, fun, safe, welcoming environment where our members can participate in enriching programs and social activities.
