Offers trauma-informed and survivor-led mental health supports and services to marginalized communities, inclusive of all ethnicities, socio-economic statuses, and gender identities.

Free mental health counselling services for Nova Scotians who do not have insurance and cannot afford to pay out of pocket. Our services support children ages 10 and up, teens, and adults.

The CSAC provides up to 12 individual counselling sessions free of charge for those impacted by sexual violence. You will meet with the same counsellor weekly or biweekly for an hour-long session of therapeutic conversation. During your treatment, you and your counsellor will spend some time developing counselling goals, collaborating on a treatment plan, and evaluating progress to determine what future services may be beneficial.

​The After Trauma Empowerment Network (ATEN) is a newly formed community based non-profit organization, developed to empower and improve the quality of life for individuals, families and communities affected by trauma. ATEN is currently based out of Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, and serves all people in East Hants and surrounding areas.

The Millbrook Health Centre is located in Millbrook First Nation. Our Health Centre is dedicated to providing accessible, culturally-safe, and holistic care to community members or Millbrook First Nation Our Health Centre is staffed by a team of experienced health care professionals, including doctors and specialists, nurse practitioner, nurses, social workers, mental health & addictions counselors, and dietetics. Allied health services are also provided including a chiropractor and pedorthist. We believe in a collaborative approach to health care, and work closely with our leadership and community members to develop plans of care to meet the unique needs of individuals and their families. We are committed to promoting health and wellness in our community through education, outreach, and community-based programs. We believe that everyone has the right to health, and we strive to make that a reality for all our community members.

The Bloom Program is a community pharmacy initiative designed to increase and improve mental health and addictions care for Nova Scotians. Truro Locations: Medicine Shop Truro Mall, Medicine Shop Prince St., and Lawton's. Shubenacadie Locations: Guardian Pharmacy.
