Support appointments

What does our support worker do?

A Support Worker helps women feel safe, respected, and supported during difficult times. We listen with care and without judgment, offering kindness and understanding to women facing challenges in their lives.

A Support Worker works closely with each woman to understand what she needs, set goals, and looks at different options available to meet those goals. We can help connect her to local services, like housing programs, legal help, counselling, or job supports. When needed, and with her permission, we also can advocate on her behalf, while always encouraging her to make her own choices and stay in control of her life.

A Support Worker helps women build confidence, and take steps toward the future that woman is seeking.  At the heart of our work is a strong belief in respect, independence, and the idea that every woman deserves the chance to grow, heal, and succeed.

We are Women Empowering Women.

If you’d like to book an Intake Appointment with the Support Worker at the Lotus Centre, please click HERE or give us a call, email, or drop in during our open hours to fill out a Pre-Intake Questionnaire.
